Toothless looked forward keeping his focus on the berserker ship.
After a while of carefully flying behind the Berserkers, a little icy island came into view. It looked more like a chunk of ice that broke off and decided to float here. “An icy island?” Jackie asked softly.
Hiccup looked at it curiously. “Lets get a closer look. But stay out of sight.” Hiccup said and flew towards the icy rock.
She nodded and kept above the clouds. The men docked at the ice island and hopped off. However, Dagur was no there. “Is this it?” one asked. “Yup, this is the place,” another replied as they walked along the island, looking around.
Toothless landed out of sight and hiccup carefully looked at the berserkers. “What are they up to?” He asked himself.
Samara and Jackie quickly landed beside Toothless and Hiccup behind some tall ice. Jackie hopped off and peeked around he corner to see a dark colored thing inside the ice. The berserkers began to surround it. “Ugh.. This thing is huge,” one said. “We’re gonna need more tools,” another said. They all soon began to disperse and go back to their boat.
Toothless barred his teeth. “Easy bud.” Hiccup said to calm him. “Im gonna see if I can get closer.” Hiccup whispered and quietly rushed over to another tall piece of ice.
"Hiccup, be carful," Jackie called in a whispered tone.
Hiccup peeked out at the berserkers before rolling over to another piece of ice and got really close to whatever they were digging for in the ice.
The men set sail and began to go back to their island. Jackie stood up and watched them leave. “Hic, it’s ok it come out now,” she called. Samara walked out from behind the ice and stood beside Jackie.
Hiccup stood up and walked from behind the ice. Toothless walked over to Hiccup and sat next to him. “Lets see what they were digging for.” Hiccup said and turned to the ice. Frozen inside was a large black mass that looked like some kind of dragon.
Jackie and Samara walked up to the mass. “Is that a dragon?” she asked. Samara bared her teeth and growled at it.
Toothless barred his teeth and a low growl came from him. “Yeah. Some kind of dragon but I can’t tell what kind. The ice is making it too blurry.” Hiccup said
Jackie walked up to the eyes and cupped her hands around her eyes against the ice to see it. “No, I can’t see.. Samara, can you help us out a bit?” she asked and stepped back. Samara looked up at her and stopped growling. She then looked back at the mass and shot a blast of her purplish-blue fire at the ice. Melting a thick layer in between then and the frozen beast.
“Maybe we should get it out of here and take it to Berk. I’m not sure what the berserkers would want with it but it can’t be good.” Hiccup said
Jackie nodded then looked at the dragon closer since it was easier to see. She gasped softly. “Is that a what I think it is?” she asked.
Hiccup looked at it and nodded. “Its a skrill.” He said softly.
"We need to get this guy back to Berk," she said. "The Berserkers are gonna be back any minute."
